Some early studies on the characteristics of millennials in the workplace indicated that the terms “employee retention” and “millennial employee” will be mutually exclusive. However this projection was viewed in a down economy and when we hardly knew adult millennials. Now that US businesses have had some experience with this new generation of workers in a healthier economy it appears it may only be redefining of the word “retention”.
